Based on our Genotyping by Targeted Sequencing (GBTS) technology, which integrates the strengths of array-based genotyping and high-throughput sequencing, we have developed a series of ready-to-use broccoli genotyping panels with flexible marker densities. These panels are designed to accommodate a diverse array of sample types, including plant tissues and seeds.

    Beyond standard panels, we offer bespoke services tailored to your specific needs. By submitting your SNP list, we can swiftly design cost-effective GBTS panels, ranging from low to high density, that align with your research or breeding objectives.

    GenoBaits® Broccoli 40K/20K/10K Panel

    The Broccoli 40K Panel features 38,115 SNPs evenly distributed across the chromosomes. The SNP markers were selected from 102 Brassica oleracea accessions, including wild relatives and diverse cultivated morphotypes: B. oleracea var. oleracea, B. oleracea var. italica, B. oleracea var. gongylodes, B. oleracea var. gemmifera, B. oleracea var. capitata , B. oleracea var. botrytis , B. oleracea var. alboglabra, and B. oleracea var. acephala, capturing broad genetic diversity across wild and cultivated germplasm.

    In addition to the 40K panel, derived 20K and 10K panels were also designed to offer flexible marker densities for different research and breeding needs, enabling broader applicability across broccoli improvement programs.
