Pig
(Sus scrofa)
High-throughput genotyping technology is essential for identifying and developing superior pig varieties. Our Genotyping by Target Sequencing (GBTS) technology combines the advantages of array-based methods with high-throughput sequencing, offering unique benefits in customization, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.Utilizing this advanced GBTS technology, we have developed a comprehensive range of ready-to-use liquid pig marker panels with varying marker densities. These panels are designed to accommodate a diverse array of sample types, including pig blood, hair follicles, semen, and other tissues.
In addition to our extensive portfolio of genotyping panels, we offer customized services to meet your specific requirements. By supplying your SNP list, we can efficiently design cost-effective liquid-phase panels, available in low to high densities, that align perfectly with your research or breeding objectives.
Elevate your breeding programs with our innovative pig marker panels, crafted to enhance your efforts in pig breed development and improve overall herd performance.

GenoBaits® Porcine 50K Panel & 1K Panel
The Genobaits 50K and 1K panels were designed based on sequencing data from hundreds of pig breeds, including 32 Duroc, 86 Large White, 29 Erhualian, 94 Yorkshire, as well as pigs from both southern and northern China. A total of 52,000 probes form this porcine panel, which has been validated in commercial breeding lines.
The 1K panel includes 1,200 selected SNP markers, making it ideal for parental verification, pedigree correction, and breed composition analysis.
